Executive Leadership plays the pivotal role in ensuring fruitful collaboration among members, staff, and Executive Committee – the Alternate ROOTS community. Executive Leadership supports and guides operational teams, keeps a consistent overview of ROOTS’ programs and initiatives, leads fundraising, and participates in presenting the public face of the organization. Executive Leadership works in partnership with the ExComm to hold the collective responsibility for assuring ROOTS’ programs and services align with ROOTS’ mission and values.

U.S.Art Company seeks a qualified candidate for an Operations Manager position for our Compton, CA facilities. The ideal candidate is an experienced art handler or registrar to assist our LA Operations and National Operations Teams. This position requires an understanding of the safe handling of fine art and an attention to detail. The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment.

-Knowledge of Adobe Suite programs for renderings of neon sculptures, administration skills and organizing, wood & acrylic fabrication for sculpture assembly, occasional welding and handling of neon glass tubing, sculpture and installation. Driver's license required.

General studio management skills:
-Emails, scheduling, inventory, Quickbooks, driving in DC and surrounding areas.

Studio Hours: Mon-Fri 10-5pm.
