Brixton Art Prize

Brixton Art Prize is a brand new and inclusive art competition.

The prize is based from Brixton, a well loved south London district with a rich and meaningful history, but is open internationally for applicants anywhere. We want to use the beautiful cultural hub of Brixton as a base to showcase art from around the world - we welcome those from all walks of life to enter and feel united through art.

We also welcome art of all and any media, from photography and painting to sculpture and installation. This is an art competition in its broadest form.

All profit from Brixton Art Prize will go to charities that support and uplift either artist communities or the local Brixton community. We also aim to give feedback to every single applicant - we want every participant to benefit from the journey of Brixton Art Prize, regardless of the outcome.

Our theme focuses on two words that we feel encapsulate Brixton – Conflict & Integration. You are free to run with this theme in whichever way you choose.
