Mars Wrigley and Biodesign Challenge are partnering on a month-long design exploration that asks for new ways to foster the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of people with food systems that also support the health of the environment.

Students, professionals, hobbyists, and enthusiasts from across the globe are invited to envision and create food and agricultural products and processes that help create a future where everyone can thrive. Participants have the chance to collaborate with Mars and sustain ongoing mentorship from leaders within Mars.

Throughout the month, teams receive guidance, networking, and programming. The Semifinal event where all teams present to a panel of Mars and BDC experts is on November 3. The Top Eight team presentations will be broadcast live at the Biodesign Sprint Finals on November 4.

The Sprint runs online from September 28 through November 4, 2022. Teams of 2-6 members with diverse skill sets and experiences are invited (no prior biotech or food knowledge necessary).

Applications to apply are due September 16. There is no application fee.

Prizes Details:

All participating Sprint teams will have the opportunity to meet and network with leaders at Mars with expertise in R&D, Innovation, Product Development, and more.

Runner Up and Winning teams from each track will be connected to the global network at Mars and matched to a Mars team member for mentorship beyond the Sprint.
